The content of the book “A Thousand Boy Kisses” carries the type style and aesthetic shown in the cover of the book throughout the half-title page to the chapters. The type and aesthetic is used minimally to relax the eyes from the busy cover. This reason is why it is chosen to have no frontispiece. For this book, a frontispiece would create clutter. The heart and the mix of fonts in the full title page are enough to give a preview of the story’s ambiance. 

To keep the content legible, script font is used the least for the less important information. The display text is used to display the essential information because of its bold strokes. In contrast, “Cambay Devanagari” is used for all of the body text because it is the most legible, Creating a hierarchy within each block of text.

The hearts are featured to create visual interest and compliment the type. The featured hearts bring the main element from the cover to the inside matter of the book.
